# Only 38% of Ohio Medicaid women with early breast cancer had genomic testing

A retrospective cohort linked the Ohio Cancer Incidence Surveillance System to Medicaid claims for 1,988 women aged 18 to 65 diagnosed with localised or regional ER-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer between 2016 and 2020\. Molecular profiling within six months was recorded for 752 of them, 37.8%. Receipt was lower for regional than localised disease (aOR 0.35, 95% CI 0.28-0.42), for Black than White women (aOR 0.72, 0.56-0.91) and for long-term care enrollees (aOR 0.47, 0.33-0.66), while neighbourhood opportunity showed no association.
